Camden School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to oversee its buildings, grounds and facilities. You will work with the senior leadership to keep premises safe, secure and well maintained during the school year.

The role involves daily site management, coordinating routine maintenance, supervising contractors, and ensuring health and safety compliance, including fire procedures and documentation. DBS check required and commitment to high standards in a public-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in site or facilities management, preferably in a school or public-facing environment.
• Ability to supervise staff and contractors, manage competing demands and maintain compliance records.
• Practical understanding of building maintenance, security systems and health and safety.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for the daily management of the school site.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs and building inspections.
• Manage contractors, service providers and external maintenance visits.
• Oversee caretaking and cleaning arrangements to maintain high standards.
• Monitor health and safety compliance, fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain site documentation, inspection logs and maintenance schedules.
• Support the management of school lettings and out-of-hours activities.
• Identify improvements to the site and help plan maintenance priorities.
• Respond to urgent facilities issues and arrange appropriate remedial work.
