Marchant Recruitment are seeking a hands-on Site Manager for a school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The role oversees premises, safety and day-to-day operations, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and a permanent, full-time contract.

ASAP start. You will coordinate repairs, manage contractors and support events while maintaining records and safety compliance. DBS check will be required, and experience in public-sector settings is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management, facilities or premises maintenance.
• Strong organisational skills and practical problem-solving.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations; enhanced DBS may be required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily site operations, security and access arrangements.
• Coordinate routine repairs, planned maintenance and inspections.
• Manage contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to standard.
• Supervise site and cleaning staff where applicable.
• Monitor health and safety procedures and fire safety equipment.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections and maintenance work.
• Support room setups, deliveries, events and lettings.
• Liaise with senior leaders on urgent issues and longer-term improvements.
