Job summary

Brownhills Ormiston Academy is seeking a proactive Site Assistant to join our Site Team on a shift rota. You will maintain buildings and grounds, ensure safety and smooth running of facilities for students, staff and visitors, and support pool maintenance where required.

The role requires experience in caretaking or site support, the ability to work on your own initiative, strong ICT skills, and a team player attitude. A willingness to learn pool upkeep is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or site support/grounds work.
• Efficient, organised and reliable.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and lone working.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude.
• Good ICT competency.
• Ability to swim and be confident around water.
• Willingness to learn pool maintenance if no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Site maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds.
• Pool maintenance support where required.
• Conduct health and safety checks and security tasks.
• General site support to ensure smooth operation for pupils and staff.
