Job summary

Catch 22 is seeking reliable School Premises Assistants to join a pool supporting schools across the London area on ad-hoc temporary shifts. The role offers an hourly rate from £12.71, with flexibility to cover varied school sites as needed.

You will help maintain safe, well-presented environments, assist with opening/closing buildings, set up rooms for lessons and events, receive deliveries, and report maintenance or health and safety concerns as part of supporting staff, pupils and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises, caretaker, facilities, or maintenance roles is desirable.
• Can work independently and manage workloads.
• Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS if needed.

This role is ideal for someone with a practical approach who takes pride in maintaining safe, secure, and well‑presented school environments. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of school sites, supporting staff, pupils, and visitors alike.

About the Role

As a School Premises Assistant, you will support the overall upkeep and operation of the school site. Each shift may vary, and you will be expected to adapt to different tasks throughout the day.
