Job summary

We are seeking a Caretaker to join our central site support team here at The Partnership Trust. The post holder will be required to support our schools across Bath and the local area, and will be predominantly based at Weston All Saints CofE Primary School.

You will undertake a range of repair, maintenance and monitoring duties to ensure safety, security and a welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds
• Opening and closing the site, including responding to alarms if required
• Carrying out minor repairs and liaising with contractors where necessary
• Overseeing site safety and security
• Supporting with lettings and school events as needed
• Undertaking and supporting compliance checks to ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, including routine testing record-keeping, and reporting any issues promptly.
