Job summary

St Stephen’s Church School in the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our school community. You will maintain safety, cleanliness and general repairs to ensure a welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

This 30-hour per week role works with the Hub Compliance, Office Manager and Headteacher. The post demands flexibility, good communication and a commitment to safeguarding of children.

Qualifications

• Well organised and proactive
• Hardworking and flexible to meet the needs of the children and the school
• Able to use DIY skills such as general repairs, maintenance and decorating
• A good communicator and positive character
• Committed to safeguarding and dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety, general maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds
