Job summary

Livingstone Primary School in Tameside is seeking a Site Manager to join our dedicated team. You will balance daily cleaning, security and maintenance, with health and safety checks, record keeping and contractor liaison.

The role requires self-motivation, good communication, and the ability to work to schedules. Previous premises management experience would be advantageous; DBS checks apply and a potential for flexible pattern during holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with staff and contractors.
• Able to work to schedules and on own initiative.
• Awareness of health and safety matters and willingness to training where needed.
• Basic DIY skills and practical aptitude for building/grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, security including opening and locking up of school, minor repairs and maintenance as required.
• Liaising with external contractors such as window and carpet cleaners and gardener.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks per schedule including fire alarm checks and legionella draw through.
• Manage the cleaner and record keeping.
