Job summary

Remedy Education in Lewisham is seeking a School Premises Manager for a primary school. You will oversee Cleaning and Caretaking staff, ensure projects run smoothly, and liaise with the facilities team to meet deadlines.

The role requires a valid DBS update service and immediate availability. You will manage building security when unused and handle external bookings, with responsibility for heating, lighting and alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a school environment.
• A valid DBS on the DBS update service.
• Be available to interview and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cleaning and Caretaking staff across the school.
• Ensure staff complete projects effectively and communicate in their roles.
• Communicate effectively with the facilities team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Ensure the building and grounds are secure when not in use.
• Take bookings for school facilities from outside users.
• Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure they are operational.
• Take responsibility for equipment orders involving facilities across the school.
