Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a School Site & Maintenance Manager to keep the school premises safe and compliant, with a proactive approach to health and safety and a track record in school maintenance.

You will lead maintenance across the site, provide regular reports, manage budgets, carry out repairs and inspections, and work closely with cleaning and operational staff. DBS checks will be required and safeguarding understanding is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have school experience.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo DBS check.
• Positive attitude and happy to get involved across all key areas.
• Experience working with cleaning and operational staff.
• Driving Licence.
• Appropriate Training Certificates.
• Understanding of Safeguarding in Schools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school premises to a high standard including H&S.
• Provide maintenance reports and resolve defects.
• Manage budgets for maintenance work.
• Carry out repairs to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections and oversee school security.
