Job summary

Park Lane Primary School is seeking a Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance of the school site and grounds, ensuring safety and security for children, staff and visitors. The role involves collaboration with Moorlands Primary School and a commitment to a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day building maintenance, coordinate health and safety compliance, and contribute to creating a welcoming school environment.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, dynamic and innovative.
• Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and show initiative.
• Experience of managing small building projects and day to day building maintenance.
• Experience of working in a school environment – this is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders, including pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• The role involves managing the school site/s and grounds, (Infants and Juniors), ensuring that they are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition, and undertaking such tasks as may be necessary for effective site management.
• The role also includes the coordination of health and safety, ensuring that regulations are followed and adhered to throughout the school.
