Job summary

Local Education is recruiting caretakers, site assistants and premises staff to support schools across Essex. Assignments can range from individual days to several weeks or longer, with opportunities available across mainstream schools, academies and specialist education settings.

The work includes opening and securing premises, general checks, minor repairs, moving equipment, preparing rooms for lessons and events, supporting contractors, grounds maintenance, health and safety monitoring,

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, caretaking or facilities.
• Previous school experience is desirable, but not essential if you have strong transferable experience.
