The ideal candidate will bring prior school business management experience, strong finance knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills to drive effective operational performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in school business management or a similar operational management role.
• Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting and resource management.
• Experience with HR, procurement, premises or compliance processes.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing budgets, expenditure, financial forecasting and financial reporting.
• Overseeing procurement, contracts and relationships with external suppliers.
• Supporting HR administration, recruitment processes and staff compliance.
• Coordinating premises, facilities management and health and safety procedures.
• Reviewing administrative systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing reports and providing operational advice to senior leaders and governors.
