Marchant Recruitment is seeking a strategic School Business Manager for a Bristol-based secondary academy to oversee finance, HR, facilities, and health & safety.

You will report to the Headteacher and Governing Body, manage multi-million-pound budgets, ensure compliance with ESFA/DFE guidelines, and drive operational excellence. This is a full-time, 37-hour role starting ASAP or in January.

Formación

• Diploma in School Business Management or equivalent qualification.
• Proven leadership in financial and operations management.
• Strong knowledge of ESFA regulations and funding frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial management, budget forecasting, audit prep and procurement strategies.
• Line-manage non-teaching teams across admin, site maintenance, IT and catering.
• Oversee facilities, capital projects, health & safety and contractor management.
• Direct HR processes, payroll, staff contracting and occupational health referrals.
• Maximise commercial revenue through lettings, grants and partnerships.
