Job summary

Park House School in Newbury, Berkshire, requires a responsible minibus driver to transport students on designated routes during morning and afternoon runs, and on outings. Safety, punctuality and pupil welfare are priority.

You will perform pre-journey checks, keep vehicle clean, maintain usage records, and represent the school in a courteous, reliable manner. This role is term-time only.

Qualifications

• Holds a clean, current and valid driving licence, with D1 entitlement.
• Is competent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance
• Has excellent awareness of road safety and passenger care
• Is friendly, approachable and reliable

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting students on designated routes during morning and afternoon bus runs.
• Occasionally transporting students on outings and to other schools as required.
• Performing pre-journey checks and reporting defects immediately.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and keeping records of usage and passengers.
