Job summary

Toynbee School is seeking a Minibus Driver to transport pupils and activity groups around Eastleigh and surrounding areas. The role requires reliability, courtesy, and good local knowledge; you will perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance while adhering to safeguarding guidelines.

The position is term-time, with possible additional hours. A clean licence is required, with D1 licence funding for successful candidates and MiDAS training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving licence and be over 21 with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• D1 licence costs funded for selected candidate upon successful submission of required tests and medical.

Responsibilities

• Transport home-to-school pupils and activities.
• Carry out minor vehicle maintenance and daily checks.
• Refuel the minibus and ensure it is serviced with annual MOT as required.
• Be flexible for additional hours beyond term-time if needed.
