Westfield Infant School is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team and help create a safe, happy lunchtime experience for pupils.

You will supervise pupils in dining hall, playground, and other areas, promoting positive behaviour and inclusive play. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, and training opportunities are available.

• Collaborate with school team to provide a positive lunchtime experience.

About the Role

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring children are safe, well-supported, and engaged during the lunchtime period. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas while promoting positive behaviour and encouraging inclusive play.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all children at all times.
• Encourage positive behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Support children in the dining hall and promote good table manners.
• Organise and encourage safe, inclusive play activities.
• Respond appropriately to minor accidents and report any concerns.
• Work effectively as part of the school team to provide a positive lunchtime experience.
