Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join Hilden Park School in Tonbridge. You will perform general day-to-day repairs, drive school vehicles, and maintain grounds, contributing to a safe and well-run environment for students.

You should have practical maintenance skills, a can-do attitude, and be comfortable purchasing small items. Training in Health & Safety and safeguarding will be provided, supporting a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Maintenance skills, professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Can-do attitude and team player.
• Confident in responsibly purchasing smaller maintenance items.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
• Maintain school grounds and garden, keeping them neat and tidy.
• Be a familiar, friendly face to students with safeguarding training.
