Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a maintenance worker to keep our school building in good repair and a safe, welcoming place for pupils. You’ll handle day-to-day repairs and drive the school vehicles as needed, while ensuring grounds are tidy.

Qualifications

• Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.
• Be a team player who can take responsibility for smaller purchases

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs to keep the school up and running.
• Drive school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
• Keep school grounds and garden neat and tidy.
• Support safeguarding training to help interact safely with pupils
