Aspens Services is a market-leading education catering provider describing its mission to deliver great food experiences in schools. We are seeking a Catering Assistant to support the kitchen, help with basic food preparation, and deliver efficient service during the lunchtime rush.

You will work as part of a busy team with training provided, focusing on customer interactions, safety, and quality. This fixed-term maternity cover offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday during school terms.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to thrive in a busy school catering environment.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service.
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen and complying with Health and Safety.
