Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations for our school sites in Winchester. The role is a part-time position contracted to 25 hours per week, with 43.8 weeks per year.

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences, while leading and training teams and maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
