Job summary

Yorkshire Learning Trust is seeking a Cook for Dunnington Primary School to deliver a safe, high-standard catering service.

The successful candidate will prepare and serve meals, supervise staff, manage orders and stock, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness, compliance and food safety. Term-time hours are 25 per week plus 5 training days, with DBS checks and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and service to a high standard.
• Kitchen management duties including supervision of staff, ordering food, stocktaking and administration.
• Serving meals to children and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining area.
