Academics Ltd is hiring for a school catering role across Doncaster's secondary schools. You will chop, prep and plate meals following seasonal menus, while maintaining clean kitchens and welcoming dining halls.

The role involves cashless tills, assisting pupils with meal choices, and strict health and safety, including allergen tracking. Term-time hours and competitive hourly pay with holiday pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Kitchen/catering experience, preferably in schools.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Strong awareness of health & safety in busy catering environments.
• Warm, approachable personality with good teamwork.
• Two solid referees who can vouch for you.

Responsibilities

• Chop, prep, and plate up nutritious dishes following seasonal menus.
• Keep kitchens sparkling and dining halls welcoming with high hygiene standards.
• Manage cashless tills and assist pupils with meal choices.
• Monitor food temperatures, track allergens and uphold safety protocols.
• Handle washing-up, stock organisation and bin rotations with efficiency.
