The role offers term-time hours, with excellent hourly rates, holiday pay, and opportunities for CPD. DBS check and referees are required, with rotations across Doncaster's primary schools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on kitchen or catering experience (schools welcome, but not mandatory).
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Sharp awareness of health & safety in busy catering environments.
• Two solid professional referees who can vouch for you.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or ready to apply).

Responsibilities

• Chop, prep, and plate up tasty, nutritious dishes following seasonal menus.
• Keep kitchens sparkling and dining halls welcoming with top-tier hygiene standards.
• Manage cashless tills and assist pupils with their meal choices.
• Monitor food temperatures, track allergens, and uphold strict safety protocols.
• Tackle washing-up, bin rotations, and stock organisation with ease.
