Job summary

Caterlink in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Chef for a term-time only, 35-hour week pattern (Monday to Friday) with no weekend shifts. This flexible arrangement is ideal for those seeking work-life balance while contributing to school meals across the area.

The role offers up to £24,999 per annum, with responsibilities including cooking, presenting meals to Caterlink standards, and maintaining Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
