Caterlink Ltd is hiring a Chef Manager at St Kentigerns Primary School, Blackpool. The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, with weekends off, providing nutritious meals to pupils.

You will lead kitchen operations, ensure Health and Safety, manage inventories and budgets, train teams, and act as the main client contact. The position offers flexibility, with a blended learning programme and employee wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation compliance
• Enhance Caterlink’s reputation through excellent food and service
• Manage day-to-day running of the location and supervise teams including inventories and budgets
• Main point of contact for the client at the school and implement improvements
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager
• Train and develop teams and manage performance
