Job summary

Caterlink is recruiting a Chef for Dean Trust Rose Bridge in Wigan to deliver nutritionally balanced meals during term-time with no weekends. The role offers 32.5 hours per week, pattern Monday to Friday, and is paid £16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include food preparation to Caterlink and client standards, upholding Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, and supporting location management with inventories and budget monitoring. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ professional cookery or equivalent.
• Food Safety.
• Allergens.
• Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
