Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a committed Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Pownall Hall School. You’ll support daily food preparation, uphold high standards, and help deliver meals and events for pupils.

Joining a leading contract caterer, you will work with experienced colleagues to maintain food safety and allergen controls, contribute to menu planning, and ensure smooth service for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie in contract catering preferred.
• Passionate about fresh, seasonal food with creative presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service.
• Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met.
• Contribute to innovative menu planning.
• Manage mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service.
• Support events and functions alongside school life.
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.
