Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a committed Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Blue Coat School. You will support food preparation, maintain high standards, and contribute to daily meals and special events.

You will be joining Holroyd Howe, a leading UK contract caterer serving independent schools and colleges, focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients and allergen safety across menus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie in contract catering or similar environment.
• Strong focus on fresh seasonal food and presentation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High standards of food safety and allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service.
• Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met.
• Contribute to innovative menu planning.
• Manage mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service.
• Support events and functions alongside school life.
• Champion allergen controls and safety protocols.
