Job summary

Holroyd Howe is recruiting a Chef de Partie for the Hoe Bridge School and Greenfield School in Woking. You will assist the Head Chef, help deliver daily meals and events, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in a school catering environment.

The role demands passion for fresh, seasonal food, teamwork, and strong allergen management. Experience in independent education contracts is preferred, with a DBS safety emphasis and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie in contract catering, preferably in independent education or a high-profile environment.
• Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and creative presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and high food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service.
• Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met.
• Contribute to innovative menu planning.
• Manage mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service.
• Support events and functions alongside school life.
• Champion allergen controls and safety practices.
