Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer, delivering school meals with high-quality, fresh ingredients. We are seeking a Cook in a school setting who can bring our menus to life with craft skills, while maintaining stringent hygiene standards and a focus on great service for students and staff.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, school-term schedule with 35 hours per week and 36 weeks per year, plus opportunities for training and development within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in education catering with fresh ingredients.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety practices in food service.
• Ability to deliver high-quality meals and service in schools.

Responsibilities

• Creative Menu Execution: Preparing provided menus with craft skills.
• Safety Champion: Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health & Safety standards.
• Hospitality Production: Handling hospitality requests for clients and events.
• Building Connections: Developing relationships with school clients and students.
• Service with a Smile: Providing friendly, polite customer service.
