Job summary

Aspens Services in North Hykeham, Lincoln area, is seeking a Cook for schools to bring our menus to life with healthy, nutritious food for students and staff. You will focus on high quality food and service, contributing to the best school meals in the area.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time, 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, earning £13.71 per hour. A DBS disclosure will be sought and training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with education catering and fresh ingredients.
• Strong health and safety practices and a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Creative Menu Execution: Preparing provided menus with craft skills.
• Safety Champion: Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health & Safety standards.
• Hospitality Production: Fulfilling high-quality hospitality requests for clients and events.
• Building Connections: Developing relationships with school clients and students.
• Service with a Smile: Providing friendly, professional customer service.
