Aspens Services in Birmingham is looking for a Cook to join our school kitchen team. You’ll bring our menus to life, using fresh ingredients to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for students and staff.

We value food safety and excellent craft, with Level 2 Food Hygiene and a full UK driving licence required. This role operates Monday to Friday during term time, 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, at £13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in education catering with fresh ingredients.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (though we offer further training).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Creative Menu Execution: preparing provided menus with craft skills.
• Safety Champion: ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
• Hospitality Production: deliver high-quality catering for events and clients.
• Building Connections: develop relationships with school clients and students.
