Job summary

Saltford School is seeking an enthusiastic Cook to join our catering team and deliver high-quality meals for students, staff and visitors. You’ll support the Catering Manager with day-to-day operations and maintain rigorous food safety standards in a welcoming school environment.

We value reliability, flexibility and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, ensuring efficient service from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, preferably in a school or college environment.
• Holds a current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and understands food safety practices.
• Genuine interest in providing high-quality service to students, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality catering service to students, staff and visitors.
• Support the Catering Manager with day-to-day running of operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene and work well in a team.
