Job summary

Berkeley Scott in High Wycombe is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a school catering team. You will support daily food prep and serving, helping ensure smooth kitchen operations during the school day. Immediate start and weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or Kitchen Assistant experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• 2 references required.
• Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates required, or willingness to obtain.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the catering team with daily food preparation.
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised.
• Washing up and completing general kitchen duties.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
