Job summary

Thomas Franks in Stocksfield is seeking a motivated Food Service Assistant to join our team. The role is part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 28 hours per week, with shifts from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Mon/Wed/Thu and 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday.

Pay is £13.15 per hour, with overtime opportunities for events. The position supports catering for pupils and staff, requiring good hygiene, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy items.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for service following hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and well-organised.
• Restock stocks and assist during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and store equipment after use and assist with cleaning duties.
• Interact with customers and staff in a friendly manner.
