Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll support the catering team in ensuring the school kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing ingredients and keeping work areas clean and organised

• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment

• Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is desirable

• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate - required, or willingness to obtain
