Job summary

Circle Recruitment is seeking a School IT Technician to support two school sites near Welling. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 devices, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365, with solid networking skills to resolve LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi issues.

A valid DBS check is required due to access to students. You will shadow 3rd-line engineers on alternating days, developing your skills toward cloud engineering or team leadership while contributing to reliable IT

Qualifications

Previous IT Support experience in schools is essential.
Excellent experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy and Office 365.
Proficient networking experience covering switches, routers, LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi issues.
Experience with virtual servers (VMware, vSphere etc.) is highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder management experience and the ability to explain technical terms to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

On alternating days, you will shadow 3rd-line engineers for hands-on exposure to new technologies.
Play a key role in enhancing the operation and reliability of school IT networks across two sites.
