Job summary

Lift Schools is seeking an IT technician to support our growing network of schools in the South West. The role is primarily based at Lift Marling in Stroud, Gloucestershire, supporting five hub schools: Lift Marling, Lift Cam Woodfield Junior, Lift Berkeley, Lift Callowell, and Lift Hillview.

You will help onboard four new schools from January onwards. You'll resolve faults across Windows, Apple and Chrome devices, support printing, telephony, door access, classroom management and CCTV, and

Qualifications

• We expect level 3 qualifications (A levels or equivalent).
• Background in supporting and deploying applications and operating systems.
• Skills in diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to share technical information in a user-friendly way.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical faults with Windows, Apple and Chrome devices while meeting service levels.
• Support systems including printing, telephony, door access, classroom management and CCTV.
• Maintain and install audio-visual systems across school sites.
• Monitor broadband connectivity, single sign-on, backups and firewalls.
• Support onboarding of four new schools joining the hub.
• Keep records in the service management system and manage assets.
• Provide excellent customer service and update colleagues on progress.
