Job summary

Lift Schools is seeking an IT technician to support our growing network of schools in the South West, based primarily at Lift Marling in Stroud. You will assist five hub schools and help onboard four new schools from January, ensuring every site has the technology needed for learning.

You will work closely with IT colleagues and partners in a fast-paced environment, resolve hardware/software issues, and maintain systems while providing excellent customer service to teachers and staff across your

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualifications (A levels or equivalent).
• Experience supporting and deploying applications and operating systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Curiosity and problem-solving approach; quick learner.
• Excellent organisation and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willing to travel between hub schools with a driving licence (full UK licence).

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical faults with Windows, Apple and Chrome devices.
• Support systems including printing, telephony, door access, classroom management and CCTV.
• Maintain and install audio-visual systems across school sites.
• Monitor and support connectivity, single sign-on, backups and firewalls.
• Support onboarding of new schools joining the hub.
• Keep records in service management system and manage assets.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep colleagues updated.
