Job summary

Reach South Multi Academy Trust is seeking an IT Services Technician to support a cluster of schools, providing on-site IT assistance and remote support across the Trust. The role is based in Bournemouth with travel to surrounding schools.

The successful candidate will have IT support experience in education or non-profit sectors, solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, strong communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support within the Education, corporate or non-profit sector.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• UK driving licence.
• Flexible and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete tasks as allocated via the IT helpdesk.
• Ensure the effective maintenance and management of IT hardware, software and processes.
• Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner following trust best practice guidance.
• Ensure IT asset management is kept up to date with in-life changes.
• Support the development of knowledge base articles and runbooks when new procedures are identified.
• Provide help and guidance to staff on day-to-day use of IT hardware and software
