Job summary

Greater Manchester Education Trust (GMET) is seeking an HR Operations Manager based at Levenshulme High School to lead HR across a portfolio of schools. You will support school leaders in employee relations, attendance management, recruitment, and workforce compliance, driving improvements and ensuring high-quality HR services.

You will manage HR Administrators, monitor metrics and foster a positive, compliant culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing complex casework with sound judgement.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice across employee lifecycle.
• Manage attendance, recruitment and workforce compliance.
• Lead portfolio HR Administrators and supervise data metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and policy implementation.
• Collaborate with school leaders to support change initiatives.
