Job summary

Plympton Academy is seeking a Facilities Officer to assist the Site Manager with overseeing daily site tasks and supporting capital projects. You will work primarily at Plympton Academy but may be required to travel to other hub sites across the Trust to ensure consistency and safety.

The role requires practical maintenance skills, a clean driving licence, and experience within an academy environment. You will contribute to a secure, well-maintained learning environment and support cross-site

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.
• Experience of working within an Academy/School is desirable.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site tasks and support capital projects.
• Manage premises and facilities across The Thinking Schools Academy Trust.
• Ensure premises are secure, safe and well-maintained.
• Oversee maintenance programmes and budgets.
• Health & Safety management.
