Job summary

Cornerstone Academy Trust is seeking a Site Maintenance Officer to join the team. You will be involved in building maintenance, site improvements and day-to-day site management across several schools in Exeter, Exmouth and surrounding areas.

The role requires practical skills in construction, carpentry or plumbing, a clean driving licence, and a flexible, team-oriented approach. A salary of £31,420 is offered with standard school holiday aligned leave and pension scheme support.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and site improvement projects.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to drive and travel between sites with a clean licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of 7 primary schools.
• Participate in building improvement projects and site management.
• Mow lawns, landscaping, painting and decorating, site security and lock-up.
• Manage lettings and respond to alarm call outs.
• Travel between Exeter, Exmouth and Barnstaple sites with tools and equipment.
