Job summary

Norwich Road Academy in Tetford seeks a proactive Site Officer to keep our facilities safe, clean and well maintained. You will support pupils and staff by ensuring classrooms, playgrounds and common areas are functional and welcoming.

With strong organisation, IT literacy and a commitment to safeguarding, you will work closely with the leadership team to respond quickly to maintenance needs and help create a positive learning environment for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English and Maths.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
• Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Support the wider academy community and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks and respond to basic repair requests.
• Coordinate with staff to minimise disruption to lessons.
