Job summary

Humber Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Site Facilities Officer to oversee day-to-day school-site operations, ensuring safety, security and a welcoming environment for staff, pupils and visitors. You will perform routine inspections and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including governors and external partners.

The role requires experience in facility supervision, health & safety management, and basic ICT skills, with a proactive approach to safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have experience supervising facilities and managing health and safety.
• Ability to carry out routine inspections, risk assessments and ensure compliance with policies.
• Experience in coordinating site services and communicating with staff, pupils and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the school site and ensure safety and security.
• Carry out routine inspections and system checks with accurate recording of outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with statutory health, safety and safeguarding requirements.
• Line-manage cleaning staff and monitor service and maintenance of site services.
• Respond to call-outs to keep the site safe and secure, following procedures.
• Prepare termly health and safety reports for the governing body.
