High March School in Beaconsfield is seeking a Part Time Facilities Assistant/Pool Technician to support the Facilities Manager. The role covers building fabric repairs, basic DIY, gardening, swimming pool maintenance, and general maintenance tasks within the school estate.

The successful candidate will have good DIY skills, a proactive attitude, teamwork, and strong communication abilities, plus a full driving licence. Hours are up to 26.5 per week, with events outside core hours as required.

Qualifications

• Good DIY skills and practicality.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit for lifting and porterage.
• Full, clean driving licence; willingness to train for D1 minibus entitlement.

Responsabilités

• Set an example of high expectations in line with the School’s aims and ethos.
• Maintain enthusiasm and promote morale and the school's reputation.
• Be vigilant for the welfare of the children at all times.
• Reports to: Facilities Manager and School Business Manager.
• Assist with maintenance of the swimming pool and general estate duties.
