Job summary

Broadleaf Partnership Trust is seeking a reliable Facilities Assistant to join our school team. You will help keep the site safe, welcoming and well-maintained, supporting maintenance, groundskeeping and event setup.

Shift patterns are 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover. You will work as part of a supportive facilities team dedicated to creating a safe environment for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Reliable, proactive and practical individual with a hands-on approach.
Basic DIY skills and willingness to learn are essential.
Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Support the general upkeep of school facilities, including basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
Work alongside a dedicated team to help maintain high standards of health and safety across the school site.
Assist with groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance to keep the school environment safe and welcoming.
Support school events and room hires by helping with set-up, clear-away and ensuring areas are safe and secure.
Be part of the wider facilities team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
