Marchant Recruitment is recruiting for a Site Premises Manager at a Buckinghamshire secondary school. You will lead the estates and facilities team, oversee security, maintenance, and compliance, and shape the future of the school’s buildings and grounds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing school sites, large-scale facilities, or corporate property portfolios.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and staff scheduling abilities.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and statutory testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance across the entire school estate
• Lead, mentor, and schedule the on-site caretaking, cleaning, and maintenance support team
• Ensure rigorous compliance with health and safety regulations, statutory testing, fire safety, and COSHH guidelines
• Oversee site security protocols, including access control, CCTV networks, automated gates, and out-of-hours call-outs
• Manage contractor relationships, oversee capital improvement projects, and supervise major building works on-site
• Maintain accurate asset registers, manage facilities-related stock, and monitor the site budget under the guidance of senior leadership
