Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management, caretaking, or a relevant trade background.
• Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and emergency protocols.
• Ability to lead site maintenance and cleaning teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience within a school setting is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: Oversee daily upkeep, cleanliness, and security of buildings and grounds, including hands-on minor maintenance.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations, manage fire warden duties, risk assessments, and compliance logging.
• Contractor Management: Supervise external contractors on-site, ensuring safety and quality.
• Security & Keyholding: Primary keyholder, manage opening/closing, respond to emergencies.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate site maintenance and cleaning teams to maintain presentation.
