Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Premises Manager for a busy academy in Oxfordshire. You will take ownership of the estate, ensure safety, sustainability and an immaculate learning environment, working with senior leadership to run the site and caretaking team.

You will oversee PPM, capital projects, health and safety compliance (fire safety, COSHH), security, contractor management, and emergency response, with a proactive, organized leadership style.

Qualifications

• Proven background in premises management or facilities operations.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and site security protocols.
• Strong organizational and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, PPM, and capital projects across the campus.
• Ensure health and safety compliance including fire safety and COSHH logs.
• Lead the site, caretaking, and cleaning teams, ensuring seamless daily operations and security.
• Coordinate external contractors, SLAs, and routine equipment servicing.
• Act as key holder and lead responder for site security and emergencies.
